A few words about blog meets... by Celeste
Firstly two telling offs.
1. Southern Bird. Why no come? I really wanted to meet you!
2. Fern!!! Shame shame shame shame shame on you for not turning up! I was so exctited about meeting you and then on Saturday when James told me you weren't coming my little bubble burst.
But it's ok, I still like you both... ;-D
Saturday was extremely surreal. I'm proud to say it was my first time with a bunch of internet strangers in a gay club. Slightly dissappointed no butch lesbians chatted me up but it was more geared toward men who fancy men. On the other hand, James and the brilliant Bonobo Love did get chatted up by two rather dishy Swedish guys. Score!
For me meeting Status Anxiety, PPQ, Greavsie and Andre was very scary as they are uber bloggers. I'm just a mere c-list blogger who used to have a pink blog but now has her suspender belt pictured on her new blog.
PPQ is just fabulous. We had a great chat. As with Bonobo Love who is just a sweetheart.
Greavsie, was quite sozzled and was hilarious.
Andre, was, well Andre! He looked like Andre. He spoke like Andre. So I can only imagine it was indeed him. After accusing me of sending him topless pictures of myself (which I did not do I hasten to add) we had a great chat about how I looked different to my pictures. I of course asked the girly thing of 'Oh, do I look fatter?' to which he told me not to be stupid but I did look younger, had lighter hair and other reasons which he couldn't go into.... Yes I'm still intrigued as to what they are!
So all in all a fabulous day.
