Wooooo!... by Celeste
Today is a good day. Today starts my whole new life. Today I have no more major worries about the near future. Today my new life in Southampton is completed very nicely.
It's all happened rather quickly really. Long story short, a couple of months back I decided that I wanted to get into the PR&advertising field. I felt it was something I'd be good at and looked exciting and challenging and most importantly something that wouldn't bore me. So I decided to find out if there were any Pr & advertising companies in Southampton. I stumbled across a few but only one stood out as far because of their website.
I decided to send the MD an email basically saying that I was great and was really keen to work in PR etc etc and was gobsmacked when I got a reply in 20mins saying that there were jobs available and please contact her.
I rang, she offered me an interview. That was last Wednesday. I got a phone call on Monday and was asked to come back for a second interview which was yesterday.
At 5.30pm yesterday I was told I had been successful.
I'm shocked, excited and quite daunted really.
I can't believe how lucky I am to have this massive oppurtunity!
So life is great.
Great boyfriend, great new house and now a great new job.
Woo.
