Phase 1(b) of the Great Celeste Move was completed yesterday.
Unlike Phase 1(a), which was essentially a trial run with minimal car loading and stress, Phase 1(b) comprised of many boxes, slightly more stress and a donkey (The giant one which I won at Chessington after breaking the strong man machine).
I am delighted to report that my 6 months of gym conditioning have paid off and I am not at all sore today. I would love to say that Celeste isn't sore due to the lack of work on her part yesterday - but that would be untrue, I got that bitch working, damn straight. (See, this is why I shouldn't be allowed to watch Hip-Hop videos)
Phase 1(c) is scheduled for completion this Friday evening. Phase 1(c) involves the lifting of Celeste's (quite frankly far too big) TV and all the other bits and bobs that she has accumulated in the past 21 years. Thankfully, James has "volunteered" his services for the move. Ha ha ha, mug :-)
It is hard to believe that this Friday will be the last Friday in which I have to journey up to Reading to see the misses. Hard to believe indeed.

You neglected to mention that my new house has a pool....

Posted by: Celeste at July 25, 2005 01:55 PMHad a pool of what?
Posted by: Rob at July 25, 2005 02:08 PMIs James helping with Phase 3? That might be a Reading/Oracle in joke that you don't get. In which case just assume it's fucking funny and laught out loud.
Posted by: at July 25, 2005 03:23 PMThat was me by the way.
Posted by: Geyv at July 25, 2005 03:24 PMNo - Phase 1(c).
Phase 3 indicates that there has been a phase 2, which would indicate that phase 1(a) was markedly different from phase 1(b) - which it wasn't :-)
