Trying times... by Tris
The best thing for us to do today is to carry on as normal. It is the only immediate way for us to say, "Fuck you".
I want to write a big post about this, but to be honest I don't feel anything I could write would express the emotion in my heart, it would always seem to be a poor post, a paultry second to the post I would have wanted to have written.
Another terroist attack in London has always been a case of when, not if. I was born in London, I grew up there as well as in many other places and I can't help but feel personally outraged that someone would attack me, my London, my people.
The day to day threat of terrorism is very real, and it has happened before, it will happen again, we just need to show that their cowardly tactics won't stop us living our lifes.
And now for the slightly more contreversial line: The sooner we develope alternative fuels and stop buying oil, the sooner we cut off their power.
