The post that never was... by Tris

I don't know, I blog for a year, quit for several months, come back all enthusiastic and now look - I can't think of anything that I want to blog.

Well, that isn't entirely true - I've drafted about 6 posts that start off great and then turn sour and get deleted, this can only be described as frustrating.

The real kicker is that the blog is set to only display the last 7 days worth of posts, so if we don't post, our blog shrinks to nothingness. Ha!

Plus we have a no-meme rule here at Something for a weekend (by my own insistence, I feel that they contribute nothing) so we can't even throw a few of those on to pad things out a bit. Saying that, there was a nice, "list your DVDs" one I wanted to do, maybe I'll put it in a post instead...

Ah, the post that wasn't even a post, who says a blog is all about content :-)

Darling,

I think the reason we haven't posted much is because we have lives outside the blog world.

These last two weeks have been really busy for us, what with me getting spoiled and you spoiling me.

I'm proud that we don't update everyday as it shows that we aren't obsessed with the whole blogging thing. I post when I have something to post about and when I have time.

I refuse to post for the hell of it.

Amen to the no-meme rule. I'm all out of meme willingness. If we've all run out of original ideas and can only rely on memes, we should all just give up now.
