How time flies... by Celeste
As I sit here happily munching on cocktail sausages my delightful Tilesey packed for me to snack on this morning, I can't help my mind drifting into thought.
I can't believe it's August. It means we've already gone through 7 months of 2005. What on earth have I been doing?
August also means that it is fast coming up to a whole year since Tilesey and I first clapped eyes on each other. We've been trying to figure out when we should celebrate our anniversary. I mean should we take it from the first night we met in person or from when we had our first date (which I didn't realise was a date) or from when, well you know, we 'christened' our relationship? A whole year! I can't believe it. Sometimes it feels like it's gone so quickly but on the other hand I can't imagine my life without him in it.
August. Sheesh. My Mum's birthday and Tilesey's birthday is coming up. Tilesey's present is pretty much sorted. No idea what to get my mum. Sigh.
August. 4 months to Christmas, which is ridiculous as I'm sure it was only two months ago.
This year has been a pretty big year for me really. What with turning 21 and moving to a whole new city and getting a new job.
It's all been utterly worth it though. I'm surprised at how fantastic being with Tilesey so often is. I thought it'd be really hard to adjust as we're both very strong characters but Tilesey has been nothing but amazing. I thought it'd be too much too soon, going from seeing eachother on weekends to seeing eachother everyday, but I quite like it.
God he's absolutely scrumptious.
Hmmm cocktail sausages are finished now. Right. Back to work.
