A point of interest for the wireless bloggers amongst you:
A UK court has processed its first case of Wireless Network theft, whereby someone used someone else's WIFI to access the internet. In short, it's bad, don't do it, they'll confiscate your WIFI card and make you pick up litter.
Although, in my opinion, you'd have to be pretty stupid to not encrypt your WIFI signal, especially since you, as the owner of the network, are responsible for everything downloaded from it, including those MPEGs that only someone as depraved as Skippy would touch.
One last point, my home WIFI network is called SkyNet - I've mentioned that before but it is so geek-cool that I had to do it again. On the subject of naming, if I could name my firewall, I would have to call it KIT... I'm sorry, I can't let you do that Michael... oh the joy.
Firstly, remember that post I did yesterday? Well scrap it. I am now terrified at moving down to SOuthampton. I will be de-geeking you boy!
Secondly, change your question mark apostrophes. I know being a question mark may seem unrewarding and so they try out being different punctuation marks from time to time but it's wrong.
Posted by: Celeste at July 29, 2005 09:16 AMI've already changed the stupid ? apostrophes, have patience girl!
Anyway, you're way more geeky than me, way more - I'm just better able to apply my geekyness.
